Maria Angeles García and Edgar Hazas turned their capability in the university laboratory into a business. They left behind an unemployment period and founded Laboratorios Edyma, a biotechnology center specialised in providing services to the agri-food industry and small and medium-sized enterprises in the sector.

European reference point for in vitro culture techniques

Edyma focuses on food safety and techniques for improving production through in vitro cultivation. After 3 years, the company has become a benchmark in Europe. In this process, Edgar and Maria Ángeles are grateful to MicroBank for believing in a project presented by two young people with very clear ideas.
